Instructions

For the Citrus Syrup: Place all the ingredients in a pot, heat until it reaches a simmer, mixing until the sugar dissolves. Then, remove from the burner allowing it to reach room temperature fully. Transfer into a sterilised bottle, close it and store in the refrigerator, it will last for about a month.

For the Premix: Mix the specified spirits and syrup into a big jug, let it rest for an hour, then pass it through , ideally through a fine cloth, so it's perfectly clear.

When ready to serve: Measure 85ml of the cocktail base into your mixing glass filled with ice, and stir carefully for about 60 seconds to cool it down. Strain to a chilled martini glass or a similar vessel, decorate with a few cranberries adding the final touch by giving it a quick spritz with the mandarin essence over the drink.
